The InTENsity Select Combo system comes with a carrying case, two sets of lead wires, 9-volt battery, AC adapter, pack of four self-adhesive reusable electrodes and an instruction manual.

The portable InTENsity Select Combo unit is an extremely popular electrotherapy device that is used to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal issues. It has 4 different delivery methods of electrical treatment including TENS, EMS, Interferential and Micro current. In addition, there are total of 14 different treatment modes involved with the 4 different methods. It’s the equivalent of buying four different pain management units for one low price.

We also recommend browsing all electrodes and pads to ensure you have an ample supply in case your current electrodes are no longer valid for use or you prefer a different size. The electrodes included for this machine are sized by 1.5" by 1.5".

This item is very nice looking, however the belt clip broke immediately, the battery life is poor, new rechargeable batteries last 25 minutes in IF mode, there is a very annoying beep every time you touch a button, the plug in wall power supply falls out of the connection when ever you move and the automobile plug in power supply does not fit at all. The only positive is I like the IF mode. I'm glad my insurance paid for this thing, else I'd be pretty P!$$ed.

Many ways to configure all modes making it a bit intimadting at first. You just have to experiment with it some. Instructions are just ok. Not difficult but it assumes you will know which variations are proper for pulse widths, durations etc etc for what you want. Had to get this off internet. This is a nice strong box. Very happy. One thing of note, original battery maybe lasted 2 hours. Get rechargeable EBL 600mah 9 volts with charger from Amazon for about $18 with 2 batteries included. They will fit this unit.

I purchased this Tense unit because of IFC function and positive reviews. I did set it up following instruction manual. I made sure the electrodes sticks well and they have good connection. I used the device powered by battery and also by power adapter. First I was testing it on my forearm. It somehow worked but it was disappointing. It was weak and increasing power produced only unpleasant needle like discomfort directly under electrodes. The EMS produced slightly better effect but nothing like even cheap ESM machines with varieties of modes. I can't evaluate MC function as it is very weak and without physical sensation. I attend physiotherapy and IFC treatment for my broken ankle recently. I actually enjoy IF current sensation in physiotherapist office. I did set up my device to same IFC value what my physiotherapist uses and placed the electrodes in cross pattern on same spots. My device din't produce even similar sensation. It produced only unpleasant needle like sensation under electrodes. The increase of power to maximum did increase only discomfort. Plain and simply - This Tens unit failed me completely. It goes back.

Have used a TENS unit for years, but this one is too complicated. Bought this one specifically for headaches, but there's no information in manual showing where to put electrodes, & the company we bought it from doesn't know either. A basic unit would've served just as well.
