My chiropractor uses a professional UltraTens and referred me to this UltraTens II unit. After 40 years as an ICU nurse the strain on my back left me with frequent back spasms. I have been using this unit for about 5 years - now purchasing my 2nd unit. 15 minutes using the UltraTENS II relieves the spasms and eliminates the need for muscle relaxers and narcotic pain killers (which leave me incapacitated for days). This unit has increased my independence and daily life functioning in my retirement years. At 75 this unit has enabled me to get past the back spasms quickly without side effects.

I am returning this device, as it clearly does not allow for usual and customary TENS techniques. On top of that, the case itself was nearly impossible to open, so I must return it, completely unused. I have been able to temporarily borrow a colleague's TENS unit.

Ultrasound is not very strong.

Works well but be aware you have to use the ultrasound wand to get the TENS to work. It is not a plug and go model.
